Futures Workshops Report, June 2002

In 2002 QDHC ran a series of workshops to assist people with a disability who were looking to leave the family home for the first time to live in the community.

The purpose of the workshops was:

  • To provide information about housing and support options
  • To share information and experiences of what other famiies were doing
  • To gather information from participants about their housing and support needs and what they saw as possible responses to those needs.

The report of those workshops, including a number of recommendations put forward by participants, was prepared and circulated to the relevant government departments.

This is the Futures Workshops Report (in Word format).
